*Added more pics.* When a campaign has the tagline, “Sometimes it’s all you need to wear,” some would assume the imagery accompanying the tagline would involved a degree of nudity. One would usually be right but not this time. For a recent ambient campaign Tel-Aviv agency Mizbala did for Christina Aquilera’s new perfume in Israel, the agency placed tens of thousands of clothes hangers with perfume samples attached around Tel-Aviv. While we’re sure someone cold have taken this down the more crass road of, say, nude models prancing around the street with vials of the pefume hung from their necks, we’re guessing the hanger approach was a lot cheaper, much easier to manage and a bit less potentially offensive to some. source: Ad Gabber Posted By: Lord on February 20, 2009 | • 1 Comment
In the beginning of the year the perfume came to Israel in the first time. This is actually the first time ever that any of Christina’s perfume comes to Israel and of course an event like this should have appropriate campaign. So one and a half million shekels has been invested and we have: advertising on TV, in magazines, online and huge guerrilla marketing. The idea of this guerrilla marketing comes from the original slogan – “sometimes it’s all you need to wear” and what they did, they hanging hangers with samples of the perfume all over the country! Here are two more items signed by Christina herself that Grammy is auctioning. This is a personally autographed copy of Christina Aguilera’s very first album self-titled Christina Aguilera. This album catapulted Aguilera’s career and launched her into the superstar as we know her today. This album earned her a GRAMMY® Award for “Best New Artist” in 2000. She also received GRAMMY Nominations for “Genie in a Bottle” and “What a Girl Wants”, which are both tracks on this album. Christina signed the cover of the CD in black Sharpie while she was backstage at the GRAMMY Nominations Live at the Nokia Theatre in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles on December 3, 2008. Signed & Framed GRAMMY Postcard Christina Aguilera dazzled audiences during the 49th Annual GRAMMY® Awards in February of 2007, with a knockout performance of the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s World”. We have captured a moment of that stellar performance in this elegant black and white postcard of Aguilera belting out the notes; the passion she sings with is evident on her face. The postcard bears a small gold gramophone (signature GRAMMY logo) on the left side and Aguilera’s autograph in black Sharpie on the right side of the card. Aguilera signed the postcard while rehearsing for the GRAMMY Nominations Live Concert at the Nokia Theatre in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles on December 3, 2008. This highly acclaimed Shure SM58 microphone has been autographed by the one and only GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Christina Aguilera. Signed in silver Sharpie with a heart before her name, this microphone is a piece you’ll be proud to display in your collection.
