Of all the programs on air for children, Yo Gabba Gabba! is revered as one of the coolest. DJ Lance Rock, though very fashionably challenged in his orange spandex and shaggy hat, makes learning fun with a hip-hop twist. So, it wasn’t surprising to see that a bunch of music’s coolest mommies and daddies brought their little ones out to see Yo Gabba Gabba’s “There’s A Party In My City” live this weekend in Los Angeles.
Christina Aguilera partied with her son Max on day one. Snoop Dogg not only brought his kiddies, but performed on stage during day two, where Travis Barker and Taylor Hanson enjoyed the show with their families.

A “wild” time was had by all when Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman threw a party Saturday afternoon to celebrate the first birthday of son Max, who turned 1 on Jan. 12.
The bash, whose theme was inspired by the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are, was held at the singer’s Beverly Hills home. Pal Nicole Richie, boyfriend Joel Madden and daughter Harlow, whose big day was on Jan. 11, were among the 40 guests at the casual backyard celebration.
With surrounding trees decorated in festive blue, green and pink balloons, party guests nibbled on kid-friendly food, including mini peanut butter-and-jelly sandwiches, catered by Los Angeles-based caterers Along Came Mary. And as a special treat, a source says the party was attended by costumed mythical characters from the book.

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman threw their son Max a no-expenses-spared bash in honour of his first birthday at their Beverly Hills estate on Saturday.
Throughout the morning, balloons and equipment were delivered at the family home in preparation of the day-long festivities. The theme of the party was “Where the Wild Things Are.”
The Aguilera-Bratman backyard was outfitted with small safari animals and multicolored balloons for the 40 or so invitees to enjoy.
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Xtina said of her son:
“He is a mover and shaker. He is constantly moving, constantly banging on things. I don’t know what that means; maybe he is a drummer in the making, I don’t know. He is just so much fun and I have the best time with him. Every single day is a way for me to see life through brand new eyes. It really is an incredible thing for me every day.”
Max’s 1st birthday follows the heels of another celebrity tot who turned one yesterday — Harlow Madden, daughter of Nicole Richie and Joe Madden.
