From exposing her erotic side on her 2002 “Stripped” album to emulating pinup dolls in videos like “Candy Man” and “Ain’t No Other Man” on “Back to Basics” in 2006, Christina Aguilera is all about reinventing herself.

Now, with the Nov. 11 release of “Keeps Getting Better: A Decade of Hits,” which will be sold exclusively in Target, the 27-year-old singer is reinventing some old hits.

The album includes new versions of “Genie in a Bottle” and “Beautiful,” titled “Genie 2.0″ and “You Are What You Are (Beautiful),” respectively, plus the new songs “Keeps Getting Better” and “Dynamite.” Staples such as “Dirty,” “Come on Over” and “Hurt” also appear.

Target has tapped upstart mobile media publisher Snakk Media to promote its exclusive sale of the deluxe version of Christina Aguilera’s Keeps getting better: A decade of hits.

Snakk Media, which launches in beta on Monday, has signed exclusive deals with 100 top bloggers to present their posts in a mobile-friendly format. Its first destination is 310.tv, where pop culture junkies can get the latest news, updated every five minutes, directly on their mobile devices.

“Every day, we did one thing often, check the blogs. But, it was a terrible experience on the phones,” said Joe Kavanaugh, vp of strategic development at Snakk Media. Snakk technology optimizes the experience for 9,000 handsets, including most notably the Apple iPhone and BlackBerry.

Prior to its launch, Snakk inked a wide swath of bloggers from DJ Steve Aoki to Glosslip and Blogcritics (the last two signed on prior to being acquired by Technorati).

Target’s media buy includes banner ad placements at both the top and bottom of the mobile site. However, Kavanaugh said, advertisers will have the opportunity to create integrated campaigns with the blogger’s sites, as well as through events.

The strength of the model is the constant updates, he said: “Once you start reading, it becomes addictive.”

To say that Christina Aguilera has had a remarkable career is an understatement. The chart-topping songstress is now a bona-fide brand and arguably the heir to Mariah Carey’s R&B throne.

While fans eagerly await a new record — tipped as “futuristic” and perhaps marking a return to dance-floor bangers such as “Dirrty” — Xtina today (Nov. 11) releases a greatest-hits collection, “Keeps Gettin’ Better: A Decade of Hits,” exclusively through Target and the retailer’s website.

Pop & Hiss had a five minute chat via phone with the “Beautiful” singer late last week, when she shared a few thoughts on the last decade. Suffice it to say, this new mother is not looking back in anger.
