Multi-hyphenate mommies Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera will both be adding new scents to their fragrance lines this year.

Lopez will launch My Glow, the new addition to her successful Glow fragrance line in October—despite the recent bad news of the folding of her Sweetface clothing line last week. The singer’s fragrances have always been wildly popular, and her latest was developed while Lopez was pregnant with her twins, Max and Emme. Jennifer says My Glow was inspired by the relationship a mother has with her child. In a departure from her other fragrances, the design of the bottle for My Glow is classic and features a winged angel cap. The ad campaign, showing Lopez rejoicing in motherhood, was shot by renowned fashion photographer Carter Smith.

Christina Aguilera is set to launch her third fragrance, By Night, in September, but so far it the business plan calls only for a launch in Europe. The fragrance will take a sexier, more sophisticated turn and features notes of rhubarb, vanilla, pineapple, moss and sandalwood.

Even though The New York Times recently reported on the fall of fragrance sales—citing a 20 percent decline in celebrity scents—we’re sure that the star power these divas command will keep their perfumes selling briskly!
