Christina Aguilera has no doubt that new dad Ricky Martin is digging fatherhood.

“Congratulations! It is the best thing you will ever do in your life,” she told Usmagazine.com Saturday at a bash introducing Trump Tower Dubai in L.A. “I’m sure he is such a proud papa!”

She said she and husband Jordan Bratman “eventually” want to have another baby.

The best part of motherhood for the singer? When her son, Max, laughs.

“It just lights up my whole world,” she told Us.

Being a mother “just gives you a whole new sense of purpose, and it’s just the most amazing thing,” she said. “I was in awe of the entire experience of pregnancy; the entire journey was just incredible.”

Aguilera gave birth in January. She has said the experience has inspired her to record an album.

“This whole incredible thing that’s taken place in my life, between the pregnancy and the birth….” she told Ryan Seacrest in February. “I’ve got so much in me to write about.”
